Anti-Spam Policy
Business Technology Consultants Last updated: April 6, 2026
Business Technology Consultants (“BizTech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) helps businesses choose and buy connectivity, voice, cybersecurity, and AI solutions. Part of how we do that is reaching out to companies we think we can help. This policy explains how we send email and other messages, what rules we follow, and how to stop hearing from us.
Our Commitments
Every message identifies us. Our emails show who sent them, a working reply address, and our physical mailing address. We never hide behind a fake name or a misleading subject line.
Opting out is one click and permanent. Every marketing or outreach email includes an unsubscribe link. We process opt-out requests within 10 business days as the law requires, and in practice within 1 business day. Once you’re out, you stay out unless you ask to hear from us again.
We don’t sell or rent your contact information. Your email address, phone number, and business details stay with us. We share them only with a provider we’re actively quoting or contracting on your behalf, and only so that provider can serve your account.
We respect business contacts. When we reach out to a company we haven’t worked with, we contact people in roles relevant to the services we offer, at their business address, about business topics. We don’t send bulk messages to personal accounts or consumer lists.
We follow the law. Our email practices comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. Our calls and text messages comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the National Do Not Call Registry. Where we communicate with contacts in the European Union, United Kingdom, or Canada, we follow GDPR, UK GDPR, and CASL as they apply.
How We Reach You
You may hear from us for these reasons:
- You asked for a quote, proposal, audit, or consultation
- You’re a client and we’re updating you on an order, install, renewal, or provider issue
- You replied to a message, downloaded a resource, or booked a meeting with us
- We identified your company as a fit for a service we broker and sent a one-to-one business introduction
Business introductions are the only messages you didn’t ask for. They come from a named person at BizTech, address a specific business need, and include an unsubscribe link. If we don’t hear back after a short series, we stop.
Text Messages and Calls
We send text messages only to numbers whose owners have given prior express consent, and every text tells you how to stop (reply STOP). We don’t send marketing texts to anyone who hasn’t opted in.
We may call businesses to follow up on an inquiry or introduce our services. We honor the National Do Not Call Registry and our own internal do-not-call list. Ask to be added and you will be.
Our Provider Partners
We broker services from 350+ carriers and technology providers. When you sign with one of them through us, that provider will contact you directly about your account under its own policies. We don’t control their communications, and unsubscribing from BizTech does not unsubscribe you from a provider you’ve contracted with.
What We Won’t Do
- Send email through open relays, purchased consumer lists, or spoofed domains
- Continue contacting anyone who has opted out
- Use deceptive subject lines, false headers, or hidden sender identities
- Harvest addresses from websites without permission
- Send SMS marketing without prior express written consent
